Amanda Jekyll

Amanda is very bright well mannered young woman who teaches chemestry and biology at Wilfred Glendon Acadamy, a small private school on the east coast. Where also her "other self" Samatha Hyde (see my gallery ) teaches Phys. ed.

The Jekyll family has been engaged in science and medical proffesions for centuries and have made many contributions to both.

But when people meet amanda for the first time they always ask the same question, " so your name is jekyll, anything like the story of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde ?"

and Amanda always patiently answers yes and explains that Robert Louis Stevenson partially based his classic story on one of her ansestors a 13th century alchemist and occultist named Milton Jekyll.

What she does'nt say is that Milton was the one who perfected what is known in the Jekyll family as " The Formula!"
this concoction has been passed down thru the generations. It is their heritage, birth rite, responsibilty, a curse and an addiction! From the first swallow a Jekyll will disire to partake of the formula again and again. each time unleashing thier "other selfs" as they refer to them.. their Hydes.

yet it is a addiction that can be controled, never cured but controled and their Hydes tamed ( A little ).
Amanda first unleashed her Hyde ( Samantha ) when she was only 16. The two have learned to live together and so function in society.

some times though Samantha does get a little out of hand now and then.
